Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Manage internal tools such as JIRA, Basecamp, Google Spreadsheets, Bitbucket.
- Setup development and production environments on Amazon Web services (AWS)
- Setup and manage database systems: SQL server, MySQL
- Setup Windows and Linux environment.
- Setup and manage CI tools: Jenkins and SonarQube
- Work with developers to troubleshoot issues if needed.
- Support production if needed.
- Train developers on cloud computing.
- Work with IaC.
- Work with security hardening.
Your Skills and Experience
Requirements
- Deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of AWS cloud-based production system.
Ensuring availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems. - Management of creation, release, and configuration of production systems.
- Providing recommendations for architecture and process improvements.
- Definition and deployment of systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring on AWS platform.
- Reduce the production time necessary via AWS CloudFormation skills to deploy the infrastructure for automation
- Make necessary improvements in resources and also work on resource tagging to designate plans and costs for governance, reporting, and budgeting
- Designing, maintenance and management of tools for automation of different operational processes.
- Creating backups and managing disaster recovery
- Good in JIRA, Basecamp, Google Spreadsheets, Bitbucket management
- Good understanding of Jenkins
- Teamcity build configurations for:
- .Net applications - MSBuild
- PHP
- Ruby On Rails
- Android
- Skills in database server management, including: setup, configuring, backup, restore, troubleshoot for MS SQL, MySQL, Mongo, Postgre, Redis
- Good understanding IIS 6 7 8, Apache, Nginx
- Basic skill of Power Shell, Bash script and Python
- Good knowledge about environments of web frameworks
- PHP
- Ruby On Rails
- .NET MVC
- Nodejs
- Proven knowledge on Amazon Web Services(AWS):
- EC2, VPC, S3, Route53, CloudFront, IAM, RDS, Security Group, Codecommit, ElasticCache, SQS, SES, Load balancing, Auto Scaling
- Able to setup Elastic Beanstalk environments for Ruby on Rails, PHP server, worker and .NET environment
- Able to customize Elastic Beanstalk environments matching requirements using Power Shell or Bash script
- Basic skills in AWS CLI
- Knowledge of container: Kubernetes, Docker.
